Job Readiness Workshops
ATNE workshop
Artists working in new media possess unique creative thinking and problem solving skills and are often experts in programming, video and sound editing, and web design. However, they are often times not prepared to seek jobs, market themselves to galleries, museums and collectors, or find career advancing opportunities such as Artists Residencies or Internships. Therefore, ATNE will organize and host Portfolio Review events and Job Readiness workshops, with the aim of increasing the employability and professionalism of artists working in new media.
Job Readiness Workshops will include activities such as:
- Review of Online and Electronic Portfolios
- Review of Cover Letter and Professional Resume
- Mock interview in field, speaking and conducting behavior in a professional manner
- Online job search tips
- Building a professional web presence
