The New Media Curious series features panel discussions with artists and professionals in the field, experimental contemporary music symposiums, artists talks, experimental sound and video performances, experimental film and video screenings, New Media Book club and round table discussions, among other events.
The New Media Curious Series is a vehicle for the Boston and New England community to participate in the rapidly evolving discourse of new and experimental media, through events, resources and programs that strive to both elucidate and celebrate themes in contemporary art practice, theory and presentation of this cutting edge and ever-burgeoning genre.
The events have attracted a refreshingly broad cross section of citizens including new media artists and theorists, college students, neighbors, teenagers, parents, computer programmers, sound engineers, and non profit and commerical arts administrators to name a few. All of these minds have and will continue to converge as New Media Curious participants.
